Job Description

• Manage customs documentation and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders to streamline customs clearance processes.
• Maintain accurate records of imports and exports within the logistics department.
• Monitor and report on customs-related KPI\’s to drive operational efficiency.
• Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure timely processing of shipments.
• Assist in resolving customs issues promptly to minimise delays in operations.
• Manage the implementation of any updates or changes in customs legislation.
• Provide guidance and training to team members on customs procedures.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Customs Compliance Coordinator should have:

• Previous experience in a logistics role within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
• Strong knowledge of customs regulations and import/export processes.
• Excellent organisational and record-keeping skills.
• Confidence in collaborating with external partners and internal teams.
• Proficiency with relevant software and systems.
• A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Experience working within a shipping/customs focused role.
