About Our Client
Our client is a large and well-known UK charity.
Responsibilities:
- Develop important policy positions through analysing data and evidence.
- Produce high-quality policy briefings, reports and consultation responses.
- Track and monitor policy developments.
- Build relationships with key external stakeholders, including government departments, not-for-profit organisations and those with lived experiences.
- Work and build relationships with MPs and civil servants, attending APPGs and select committees in parliament.
- Work closely and collaborate with other teams within the charity.
Essential:
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Excellent working knowledge of Westminster and Whitehall.
- Ability to produce high quality, evidence based internal and external briefing materials under time constraints.
- Experience developing influencing strategies and public affairs campaigns.
