Job Description

  • Lead and supervise all tarmac surfacing operations on site as the Lead Tarmac Supervisor
  • Carry out high-quality hand lay and machine lay operations
  • Build and manage your own team, including:
  • Paver Drivers
  • Screwmen
  • Roller Drivers
  • Rake Hands
  • Labourers
  • Coordinate labour, plant, and materials
  • Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations
  • Deliver projects on time, within specification, and to company quality standards
  • Liaise with site managers, clients, and colleagues as the main Lead Tarmac Supervisor
  • The Successful Applicant

    A successful Tarmac Foreman should have:

    • SSSTS, Roller Ticket & Paver Ticket
    • Proven experience as a Tarmac Foreman / Tarmac Supervisor / Lead Tarmac Supervisor
    • Strong hand lay and machine lay surfacing skills
    • Ability to lead, coach, and develop a skilled surfacing team
    • Good communication and organisational skills
    • Proactive and safety-focused approach
    • Full UK driving licence (preferred)
