Job Description:

You will lead an international sales team, own key customer relationships, and shape the global product sales strategy. Working closely with marketing, product and regional leadership, you will ensure strong commercial performance, market competitiveness and consistent execution worldwide. This role suits a commercially astute sales leader who combines strategic thinking with hands-on delivery and thrives in a remote, international environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a global product sales strategy aligned to revenue and margin targets
  • Lead, coach and performance-manage Product Sales Managers and Key Account Managers
  • Own global sales planning, forecasting, budgeting and KPI performance
  • Drive growth through key accounts, new markets and product-led innovation
  • Work closely with marketing on product campaigns, positioning and sales tools
  • Oversee pricing strategy to balance competitiveness and profitability
  • Collaborate with regional sales teams to ensure alignment and delivery
  • Represent the business at customer meetings, exhibitions and industry events
  • Support product management
  • Champion safety, values and a high-performance sales culture

The Successful Applicant:

The Head of Sales will have gravitas, credibility and strong leadership skills, with the ability to influence at senior level both internally and externally. Comfortable operating strategically while remaining close to customers and the detail.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven senior sales leadership experience in marine, offshore or adjacent industrial markets
  • Strong background selling product portfolios (not services-led)
  • Experience leading remote, international B2B sales teams
  • Solid understanding of maritime operations and commercial models
  • Commercially strong across pricing, forecasting and margin management
  • Confident user of CRM and sales performance tools
  • Experience leading change or sales transformation is advantageous
  • Values-driven, collaborative and safety-focused
