Job Description

The Head of Property position will hold the following skills:

  • Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements and leases.
  • Drafting and negotiating options for easement, deeds of easement, licences to assign, underleases, and licences to carry out alterations and land transfers.
  • Handle all commercial property matters including reports on title, pre-contract searches and enquiries.
  • Provide advice to mitigate any title risks or defects identified.
  • Support external counsel in the review and preparation of certifications of title relating to project acquisitions and disposals.
  • Lead and supervise junior members of the team.
  • Work closely with business development and other internal teams to support all property-related matters.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate for the Head of Property will need to have the following skills and experience:

  • Be a qualified solicitor.
  • Have a strong background and knowledge of working in commercial property.
  • Have experience in training, supervising, or leading small teams.
  • Have excellent communication skills to partner effectively with internal teams.
