About Our Client

Job Description
- Work with key practitioners on the initial bid qualification process and make recommendations whether to pursue or not in line with bid support process and business capabilities and experience.
- Lead on strategic/high value opportunities, advising on approach, team selection and wider solutions to strengthen the businesses proposition.
- Work closely with practitioners and other stakeholders to create winning proposals and utilise this process to develop tailored, client-focused solutions.
- Provide support and coaching to help presentation teams deliver high levels of performance.
- On existing client re-tenders, work with the clients and markets team and manage the process to ensure the bid is customised and reflects latest service offering.
- Ensure proposals are cutting-edge and creative and differentiates the firm from their competitors.
Team Leadership
- Act as an ambassador for the bids team, ensuring continual development and improvement, and help to instil a culture of client-focused outputs.
- Build close relationships within the business to deliver tailored support and identify the right opportunities.
Operational Excellence
- Conduct win/loss debriefs for larger proposals, identify areas where we are winning and losing and create regular reports to improve firm-wide performance.
- Ensure the bid team’s process and procedures are efficient as possible to make the best use of our resources.
- Liaise with external designer on getting new content created to upload to bid management platform.
- Maintain standard content and templates to ensure consistency and best practice. Ensure the library of content is updated and the business is informed when new content is available.
- Run an ongoing engagement programme working with Seismic champions around the business to ensure best practices are adhered to and develop a community where knowledge and tips can be shared.
- Use internal communications channels to share success stories with the wider business.
- Develop a suite of standard content for use across the business.
Data and Analytics
- Be responsible for tracking of our entire bid pipeline where the team support on proposals providing regular reporting on performance.
- Work with IT and other parties to develop a reporting platform where analytics from Seismic is fed into other reporting dashboards to give a complete view of our pipeline performance.
The Successful Applicant
- A successful track record in managing and delivering winning sales opportunities and bids within an accounting, corporate and tax environment.
- Exceptional writing skills and attention to detail.
- Strong collaboration skills working across the business and fosters an environment of trust delivering solid strategic advice.
- Integrity, credibility and confidence to be able to convince practitioners of the best course of action.
- Ability to influence across all levels on the business and challenge constructively.
- Someone who is proactive in their approach and open to new ideas and approaches and who openly shares these across the business.
- An excellent communicator who is clear, articulate and able to lead meetings and influence others.
- The ability to meet deadlines, prioritise workloads and manage multiple projects.
- Strong project management experience.
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft suite of applications and comfort using Teams, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint in particular.
- Knowledge and experience using the Seismic platform is an advantage.
