A well established retail business in Manchester City Centre turning over circa £500 million. The business has experienced steady growth and has a strong, high calibre Finance team that you will be joining.
Job Description
- Oversee the preparation of the consolidated group annual accounts and subsidiary accounts
- Lead and have oversight of the group monthly reporting
- Be responsible for the group's annual and half year reporting
- Consolidation of multiple entities, both monthly and at year end
- Having oversight over key technical areas of group reporting, including IFRS 16, Pensions, Derivatives, Fixed and Intangible assets and Share Options
- Act as a key point of contact for the auditors and proactively manage the year end audit
- Ensuring strong processes and best practice controls are in place and actively monitored across all areas of statutory and financial reporting, driving improved accuracy and efficiency
- Managing a team of both qualified and part-qualified Accountants
- Supporting the Group Financial Controller on an ad-hoc basis
