Job
- Provide expert strategic property advice to senior leadership and service areas
- Support the formulation, implementation, and monitoring of the Council's Corporate Property Strategy
- Lead on strategic asset reviews, property evaluations, and optimisation projects
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure property solutions meet service needs
- Oversee key workstreams relating to acquisitions, disposals, lease management, and asset planning
- Ensure property decisions align with legislation, best practice, and value-for-money principles
- Contribute to long-term planning, service transformation initiatives, and corporate projects
The Successful Applicant
- A qualified Property Surveyor (MRICS preferred or equivalent experience)
- Skilled in strategic asset management and informed decision-making
- Confident advising senior stakeholders and presenting complex information clearly
- Experienced in managing public sector, commercial, or mixed-use property portfolios
- Highly analytical, proactive, and able to balance strategic priorities with operational demands
