Job Description

  • Product Development Support: Assist in the development and execution of product roadmaps. Participate in product design and feature prioritisation discussions. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements and feedback. Liaise with engineering teams to ensure product development aligns with specifications and timelines.
  • User Experience: Advocate for the user by gaining insights into customer behaviour and preferences. Assist in the creation of user personas and customer journey maps. Lead on Accessibility for the GovPass Product.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track product performance metrics and user feedback. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management.
  • Project Management: Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure products are delivered on schedule. Facilitate meetings and workshops to align team goals and address challenges.

The Successful Applicant

  • Essential Knowledge and/or Certification: Be a member of the British Computer Society (BCS) or be willing to become a member within 12 months of taking up post. Experience of working in the product space. Hold SC Clearance on taking up post, there may be a requirement to hold DV Clearance so a willingness to undertake DV is essential.
  • Desirable criteria: Experience working within Government services. Experience and knowledge of access control systems. Experience of developing product performance metrics using cloud based analytics platforms. Experience in leading user experience research and providing recommendations within a product role.

What's on Offer

A salary of £41,055 to £44,415. 28.9% Civil Service Pension. Closing Date - 18th July 2025.
