Job Description:

  • Oversee and manage the overall financial operations within the department.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies, systems, and policies.
  • Ensure all financial reports, budgets, and forecasts are accurate and timely.
  • Coordinate with auditors to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
  • Monitor all open legal issues involving the company, and legal issues affecting the industry.
  • Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations.
  • Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision making issues affecting the company.
  • Enhance and/or develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures of the organisation by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the corporation.

The Successful Applicant:

  • Certified accountancy qualification such as CIMA, ACCA or ACA.
  • Proven experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and legislation.
  • Excellent leadership and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong analytical, strategic-planning, and communication skills.
