Job Description
- Prepare financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy in reporting.
- Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Monitor and analyse financial data to identify trends and variances.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to support financial planning.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments, including utilities, to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
- A recognised accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
