About Our Client
Award winning, inquisitive manufacturing business, based in Cheshire, is looking for an experienced Finance Manager, for initially a 12 month period.
Job Description
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the role is varied and includes:
- Month end and year end journals
- Produce financial statements including P&L accounts, balance sheets, cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries
- Supporting on annual budgeting and planning process
- Management of a small team
- Reconciling balance sheet accounts
- Support on the audit process
- VAT work
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations
- Prepare payroll year end
- Review company assets and liabilities
- Commercial analysis e.g. sales and margins
- Accountability for cash flow and production of forecasts
The Successful Applicant
You will a qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent) and have relevant experience in management and financial accounting tasks.
You will be an excellent communicator, a team player, have a hands-on approach and and have good systems/ IT skills.
What\’s on Offer
An attractive salary of £50,000 – £60,000 is on offer plus hybrid working (3 days on site of your choice), a 35 hour week and bonus (company performance).
