About Our Client

The Entry Level Accounts Administrator will play a key role in supporting operations within the finance team. This role is based in Guildford and offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in Accounting & Finance.

Job Description

  • Be first point of contact for general finance queries incoming to the finance team.
  • Support in Accounts Payable, employee expenses, and credit card transactions.
  • Support credit control activities and respond to supplier/customer queries.
  • Maintain accurate financial records in Xero.
  • Assist with bank reconciliations, month-end processes, and financial reporting.
  • Help improve and streamline finance processes as the company grows.
  • Provide ad hoc administrative support to the finance team as required.

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience in a finance or accounts administration role beneficial
  • May be studying towards an accountancy qualification (AAT)
  • Familiarity with accounting software
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent numeracy and good written communication skills essential
  • Confident communicator face-to-face and with good telephone skills, who enjoys working with different teams.
  • Friendly with a \”can-do\” attitude
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing environment.
