A highly respected and top-tier ranked Private Client team is seeking a Knowledge Lawyer to support its growing Tax & Trusts practice. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic, collaborative team that acts for a broad spectrum of national and international clients, from affluent families and trustees to globally wealthy individuals and entrepreneurs. The role sits at the heart of the team, supporting lawyers with know-how, precedents, training, and internal projects aimed at enhancing client service and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and expand a comprehensive suite of precedents and guidance notes.
  • Monitor legal developments and communicate updates to the team.
  • Design and deliver engaging internal training sessions.
  • Provide technical support and act as a sounding board on complex matters.
  • Manage learning and development plans for trainees and new joiners.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives and internal strategic projects.
  • Draft client-facing articles, thought leadership pieces, and briefing notes.
  • Support implementation of legal tech solutions and knowledge systems.
  • Collaborate with other Knowledge Lawyers across the firm.

About You

  • Qualified solicitor with 5+ years PQE in private client work, ideally with experience in UK and international tax and estate planning, trusts, LPAs, and estate administration.
  • Existing PSLs or fee-earners looking to transition into a knowledge role are welcome.
  • Strong legal research and drafting skills, with a clear and concise writing style.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities.
  • Experience in training design and delivery (desirable).
