Job Description

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain IT systems and applications.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure optimal functionality.
  • Assist in the implementation of new IT projects and upgrades.
  • Ensure data security and compliance with IT standards.
  • Document IT processes and maintain accurate records of system configurations.
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Provide training and guidance to end-users on IT systems and tools.

The Successful Applicant

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of Windows operating systems, including patching and updates.
  • Familiarity with applying security patches and updates for third-party software.
  • Basic knowledge of security tools such as Microsoft Defender, Armour Code, and Qualys.
  • Ability to follow structured processes and documentation accurately.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in IT support, IT operations, or systems administration roles.
  • Hands-on experience with patch management in an enterprise environment.
  • Exposure to risk management and maintaining compliance standards.
  • Comfortable working remotely and managing tasks independently.

Tools & Environment

  • Experience working within IT operations teams, ideally in medium to large organisations.
  • Understanding of ticketing systems and reporting progress on patching activities.
