Job Description
You’ll support the business on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters, working closely with HR and senior stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:
- Advising on employment law issues across the employee lifecycle, including policies, grievances, disciplinaries, and settlement agreements.
- Supporting regulatory compliance, including SMCR and conduct requirements.
- Providing guidance on TUPE and employment-related aspects of corporate transactions.
- Managing international employment projects and liaising with external counsel.
- Advising on compensation arrangements, including malus, clawback, and deferred remuneration.
- Delivering training and supporting enterprise-wide initiatives.
The Successful Applicant
What We’re Looking For
- UK-qualified lawyer with strong technical employment law experience.
- 2‑5 years’ PQE, gained in private practice and/or in‑house.
- Experience in financial services, technology, or other regulated environments preferred.
- Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast‑moving business.
