Job Description
- Financial Reporting and Analysis
- Ensure the accuracy and compliance of all financial records.
- Preparation and finalisation of financial statements and reports.
- Develop and maintain accounting policies, internal controls, and financial processes.
- Financial close process to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Tax compliance, including VAT, corporation tax, and other regulatory filings.
- Cash flow and liquidity management.
- Coordinate with auditors and regulatory bodies for financial reviews.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with banks and external stakeholders.
- Ensure timely reconciliation of accounts (bank and intercompany).
- Payroll processing, employee expenses, and pension contributions.
- Support in creating the business plan.
- Prepare yearly budget at granular level to include targets for each function.
- Create the framework for Financial Reporting to the Management.
- Prepare monthly Management Report.
- Develop cost analysis framework along with deep dive to key business drivers.
- Identify cost optimisation opportunities.
The Successful Applicant
- A strong background in accounting or finance.
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
