Job Description:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment to minimise downtime.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
- Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards during all tasks.
- Work collaboratively with production teams to optimise equipment performance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Contribute to TPM activities, root cause analysis, and equipment upgrades.
The Successful Applicant:
- A recognised qualification in engineering, such as mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics.
- Proven experience as a multi-skilled maintenance technician within FMCG or high-volume manufacturing.
- Strong fault-finding skills across electrical and mechanical systems.
- Relevant engineering qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent).
- Relevant electrical qualification - desirable.
