My client is a Scandinavian Travel-Tech scale-up established in 2016. Specialising in developing and delivering advanced digital solutions for bus and coach companies, my client is revolutionising and modernising the coach industry across Europe. Having already built a strong presence in Scandinavia, my client has recently signed their second agreement in the UK as they look to expand into the UK&I market.
Job Description
As the Country Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Recruit coach operators/partners and assist them in migrating to the company’s modern coach operation and management platform.
- Help coach partners optimise their processes and operations through the platform.
- Build a network of coach partners to enable seamless collaboration within the UK and across national borders.
- Work closely with colleagues at the headquarters in Oslo.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Country Manager candidate will have the following:
- Experience in the UK coach industry. This experience may come from working within a coach company or from selling to/doing business with coach operators.
- Strong understanding of the industry and good knowledge of the challenges and problems faced by coach operators.
- A good understanding of and experience with value based selling.
- A commercially minded individual with strong skills in developing business and partnerships.
- Demonstrable experience of owning the full sales cycles and a proven track record of commercial success.
- Interest in technology and digital solutions.
- A network builder with excellent relationship building skills.
- Willing to learn and curious – eager to master new tools and systems.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong commercial acumen.
- Ability to build trust and influence others.
- Ability and desire to work autonomously within a dynamic scale-up environment.
