Job Description
- Providing legal advice on a variety of corporate matters including Franchising and Corporate Re-organisations.
- Acquisitions (SPA / Business Asset Purchases).
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and agreements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to manage legal risks effectively.
- Assist in resolving disputes and managing litigation when required.
- Stay updated on changes in property law and provide recommendations accordingly.
- Support strategic initiatives with expert legal input.
- Maintain accurate legal documentation and records.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will be likely to have at least 4 years PQE in England & Wales or another Common Law jurisdiction. They will have:
- a strong background and expertise in Corporate law including demonstrable experience of drafting and negotiating SPAs, Asset Purchase Contracts, Franchising.
- a willingness to take on general commercial in-house work
- experience working in or with the property industry is advantageous.
