Job Description
Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Commercial Financial Controller will:
- Lead monthly analysis of financial results and key performance drivers
- Own the annual planning and forecasting process across the UK division
- Partner with sales, marketing, and supply chain to support commercial decisions
- Oversee financial governance of promotional and marketing accruals
- Lead financial assessment of new product development and launches
- Manage SG&A and manufacturing cost centre forecasting and reporting
- Own the intercompany P&L and ensure profitability is understood
- Line manage the Commercial Accountant and lead finance improvement projects
The Successful Applicant
The successful Commercial Financial Controller will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with:
- Significant experience in commercial finance, ideally within FMCG or consumer goods
- Strong FP&A and commercial finance background
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive decision-making
- Experience managing teams and leading transformation projects
- High level of analytical thinking and commercial acumen.
