Our client is within the Financial sector, specifically Derivatives and they are looking for a Lead Developer to join the team. The company is based in Central London and they go to the office 3 to 4 times a week and this will be a 6 month Outside IR35 contract initially.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of Java-based applications and systems.
- Help plan future development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
- Ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of software solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior team members to enhance their technical skills.
- Deal with a variety of clients.
- Work alongside the outsourcing partners.
- Maintain and improve existing systems by identifying and fixing bugs or implementing enhancements.
