About Our Client: Our client is a medium-sized arts organisation.
Job Description:
- Ensure accurate financial records, including preparing and reviewing monthly balance sheet reconciliations and accounting adjustments.
- Develop and enhance accounting policies, processes, and financial control frameworks.
- Prepare statutory reports, including subsidiary accounts, group disclosures, and regulatory returns.
- Provide accounting guidance on new initiatives and create toolkits and training materials for Finance teams.
- Oversee the Treasury function, including cash forecasting, cash flow management, deposits, and payment approvals.
- Uphold strong risk and control standards, deliver high-quality outputs, and support an inclusive and diverse organisational culture.
The Successful Applicant: A successful Interim Financial Accountant should have:
- An ACA/ACCA/CIMA or relevant qualification.
- Accounting/Audit experience including financial control processes.
- Charity SORP exposure.
- Analytical review and financial reconciliation experience.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Experience in the arts sector would be advantageous.
