A leading global advisory firm is expanding its HR M&A practice within its high-performing Integration & Separation team. This is a rare opportunity to join a market-leading group advising on some of the largest, most complex and high-profile global transactions - from multi-billion-pound integrations and spin-offs, to carve-outs, disposals and joint ventures.

You will work alongside senior deal execution teams to shape people strategy through the full transaction lifecycle - from due diligence through to post-deal integration. The team operates across a diverse range of sectors including financial services, healthcare, real estate, consumer, industrial, technology, media and business services.

Job Description

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored HR strategies.
  • Oversee the integration and separation processes during mergers and acquisitions.
  • Provide guidance on workforce planning, organisational design, and cultural alignment.
  • Support change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions for stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present insightful reports and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Work closely with internal teams to deliver high-quality outcomes for clients.
  • Stay informed about trends and developments in the Professional Services industry.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience delivering HR or organisational design programmes in an M&A environment, ideally within a consulting or complex corporate setting.
  • Strong understanding of the deal lifecycle - from due diligence through execution.
  • Expertise in one or more of the following:
  • Organisational design and operating models
  • HR operations and transformation
  • Employee experience and engagement
  • Talent and workforce planning
  • Labour relations, TUPE, restructuring and redundancy
  • Ability to build relationships and advise senior stakeholders with credibility and confidence.
  • Experience managing teams and developing talent.
  • Degree qualified; a professional HR or consulting qualification is advantageous.
