About Our Client
This role is ideal for an AAT Level 4 professional who is looking for a step up in their career and wanting more exposure to management accounting duties.
Those with experience with finance within in the not for profit/ public sector industry will be highly desirable for this post.
Job Description
- Ensure all finance transactions have been processed including sales and purchase invoices
- Managing the company cashflow, bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Working closely with new suppliers setting them up on the accounting system and approving payment runs
- Identify and monitor income and expenditure and raise invoices as required
- Assist in management of company budgets for forecasts
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Producing reports and processing payroll journals
- Assist with maintaining the fixed asset register
The Successful Applicant
- AAT Level 4 qualification or qualified by experience to this level with a relevant degree
- Thorough understanding of debits and credits
- Must have previous experience in using Excel pivot tables, vlookups
- Proven ability to work independently and operate at a confident level
- Good communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
