Our client is an established ladies fashion retailer based in the West Midlands area looking for a talented individual to join and support the Buying team as a Buyer. The company continues to design and develop products for a broad range of consumers, seeking to bring the correct look and fit for customers of all ages by utilising the highest quality fabrics and raw materials to ensure that the product fits beautifully and performs well.
Job Description:
- Work as part of the overall buying team to develop an exceptional range in line with the brand strategy.
- Create and develop a given range of products that is on trend, commercial, and in line with the company's brand image.
- Lead and develop a team.
- Manage and maintain the critical path.
- Analyze market and competitor trends.
- Present proposals for future range development.
- Lead supplier meetings, including communications, negotiating prices, minimum quantities, lead times, and range finalisation meetings.
