Job Description

The ideal candidate will:

  • To grow the Pharma & Healthcare business leveraging existing £2m business across 15 active accounts
  • To extend the customer portfolio in Pharma & Healthcare sector
  • To build a strong project pipeline for the Pharma & Healthcare business in Europe and North America
  • To regularly forecast customer demands and work closely with the planning team
  • Maintaining regular and productive contact with existing customers building relations
  • Liaison with the technical team to ensure that new products and supporting technical data is provided in line with customer expectations.
  • To ensure appropriate measures are taken to provide excellent customer service.
  • To support to develop and implement a sales and marketing plan for Ransom Naturals that reinforces our reputation as the leading supplier of natural extracts in the Pharma & Healthcare sector
  • To represent the company at key exhibitions and events in the UK and abroad.
  • To utilise and develop the services of the Development Technologist to introduce new concepts and ideas into the Pharma & Healthcare markets both at home and abroad.
  • Organise and coordinate Innovation Day presentation with key accounts
  • Develop good working relationships and to build product awareness amongst potential new customers.
  • To develop and deliver presentations, produce literature, journal articles and other promotional material.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Business Development Manager should have:

  • Proven trackrecord in selling to Pharmaceuticals / Healthcare
  • Strong Team Management Skills
  • A strong understanding of market trends and client needs in the sector.
