Job Description
- Manage and optimise network infrastructure, including virtual networks, cloud platforms, and WAN technologies.
- Configure and maintain firewalls, routers, switches, and load balancers.
- Deploy security and operational updates in line with business guidelines.
- Monitor network performance and resolve bottlenecks.
- Support backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud services and architecture.
- Dell Servers, including iDrac.
- Knowledge of SAN's operations.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Network and Infrastructure Engineer should have:
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP), subnetting, VLANs, VPNs, and load balancing.
- Experience with FortiNet firewalls and Cisco switches (including CLI configuration and firmware updates).
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems and active directory.
- Demonstrated ability to design / troubleshoot complex network.
- Experience working with hybrid infrastructure and virtual networks.
- Ability to work collaboratively across infrastructure and security teams.
- Willingness to work outside of core hours when required.
