Job Description
Joining as a Bookkeeper based from their Exmouth offices, you will act for varied sole traders, partnerships, and limited company SMEs and OMBs of varying size and industry sector focused on the provision of bookkeeping services to a client portfolio. You will prepare bookkeeping services up to trial balance, management accounts, prepare and review VAT returns, and be confident dealing directly with clients, building relationships and providing a quality service. You will have the potential to carve a key role here working on Xero/Cloud accounting services. Clients are varied across restaurants, pubs, services, manufacturing, and other industries ranging from under the VAT threshold in turnover to clients with millions in turnover.
The Successful Applicant
You may be AAT studying or hold an AAT qualification, but if supported by a relevant career history and technical skill set, a relevant experienced background is equally of interest. You will have 2 - 3 years or significantly more experience within accountancy practice, or perhaps be a self-employed senior bookkeeper seeking the stability of a permanent employed position within this team of professionals.
