Job Description
- Develop customer-focused technical solutions that are practical, compliant, cost-effective, and support both operational and commercial requirements.
- Provide technical support during bids and proposals, including solution definition, risk identification, and development of robust, deliverable designs to improve conversion rates.
- Produce and maintain engineering layouts and drawings, including 2D GA drawings, 3D CAD layouts, installation plans, and equipment/interface designs.
- Coordinate project delivery activities by working with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to meet schedules, milestones, and engineering commitments.
- Manage supplier integration and equipment interfaces, reviewing technical submissions, resolving technical queries, and supporting system performance validation.
- Identify, track, and mitigate technical risks and changes throughout the project lifecycle, maintaining risk registers and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support site-based activities including Factory Acceptance Testing, Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), installation, commissioning, issue resolution, and project handover.
- Ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance by maintaining controlled documentation, supporting audits and reviews, meeting CE/UKCA requirements, and promoting safe working practices.

- They will have a strong understanding of automated production lines, machinery integration, food industry standards, and CE/UKCA compliance.
- Demonstrate excellent systems thinking, sound engineering judgement, strong planning and organisational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
