About Our Client
Michael Page are delighted to support a highly successful national construction business with the appointment of a regional/multi-site Employee Relations Advisor to join a busy People team. This role will cover various sites around the Midlands and North. The role can offer hybrid working; you will travel to sites as business needs require. Circa 2-3 days per week will be site based and 2-3 days per week you will be home based.
Job Description
The role of Employee Relations Advisor will work as part of a national People team. This is a busy, high-volume, fast-paced role supporting a wide range of cases. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide expert advice and guidance on employee relations matters including complex scenarios
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are implemented consistently across the organisation
- Manage disciplinary, grievance, and performance management processes
- Conduct investigations and prepare comprehensive reports
- Work collaboratively with the wider People team to ensure alignment with company values
- Keep up-to-date with employment law changes and provide relevant updates to the team
- Contribute to the development and delivery of HR training programmes to up-skill managers
The Successful Applicant
Ideal applicants for this role will have a proven background dealing with high-volume employee relations matters. You may be a specialist ER Advisor looking for a new challenge or currently a generalist HR advisor looking to specialise in the ER field. You will be comfortable with regular travel to various sites around the Midlands and North — Circa 2-3 days per week will be site based.
