Job Description
The Production Planning Specialist will
- Maintain and improve the ERP system (SAP) for existing, new, and trial codes.
- Create and maintain BOMs, Routings and Quality plans.
- Verify that all production bookings have been completed, including final confirmations and consulting with the manufacturing team to complete paperwork.
- Contribute to projects involving master data.
- Complete production variance analysis and improvements to BOMs/Routings
- Review production records for completeness and correction of booking errors, final confirmation of production records.
- Interaction with Global support functions regarding problem solving and managing through to resolution.
- Support with training in SAP for new operators.
- The Successful Applicant
The successful Production Planning Specialist should have
- Experience in SAP (R3 / S4 HANA) preferred
- Proven experience in a data management role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing production support function.
- Good analytical skills combined with high level of resilience and initiative.
- Strong MS office 365 skills, especially MS Excel.
- What's on Offer
- Day rate of £160-200, dependent on the level of experience. Inside IR35.
- Temporary contract with potential for longer term.
