An independently owned accountancy practice based across multiple sites in the Midlands. This firm has a large and established owner managed business client base but has also expanded more recently to service larger clients, including those reporting to IFRS accounting standards.
Job Description
- Leading audit engagements and ensuring compliance with professional standards.
- Providing technical expertise to team members and clients within the business services sector.
- Managing client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor in all audit-related matters.
- Supervising and mentoring junior team members to enhance their professional development.
- Reviewing and approving audit workpapers and reports to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Assisting in business development initiatives, including client pitches and proposals.
- Ensuring adherence to internal policies and external regulations within the Accounting & Finance department.
- Identifying and implementing opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.
The Successful Applicant
- A recognised professional qualification (ACA, ACCA), an RI qualification would be preferable.
