Job Description

  • Providing legal advice and support on a wide range of legal issues to the firm.
  • Supporting the firm in relation to claims or potential claims made against it and relevant lawyers.
  • Developing and implementing legal risk management strategies and compliance programs.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of contracts and agreements.
  • Ensuring the company’s compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Assisting with corporate governance matters and maintaining corporate records.
  • Advising on employment law matters and contributing to the development of HR policies.
  • Assisting in the protection of the firm by procuring relevant insurance protection in various areas and liaising with brokers and insurers.
  • Conducting training sessions on key legal issues for staff.

The Successful Applicant

A successful ‘Associate General Counsel’ should have:
