Job Description
The key responsibilities of this Accounts Payable Assistant role will be:
- Process high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and on time
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Manage AP inbox and respond to queries in a professional manner
- Assist with weekly and monthly payment runs
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal controls
- Support month-end close by preparing reports and reconciliations
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth purchase-to-pay processes
- Help identify opportunities to improve AP processes and efficiency
- Ensure VAT and coding compliance on all invoices
- Provide general support to the finance team as needed
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Payable Assistant should have:
