As an Account Director you will work closely with the agency Managing Director to lead a successful client services team and deliver award winning campaigns for your clients. Responsibilities include:

  • Owning and leading the marketing strategy for integrated accounts within the agency.
  • Working closely with client stakeholders to develop and deliver marketing strategy.
  • Creating, developing and sustaining strong and long-lasting relationships with all of the agency clients.
  • Fully implementing client requirements through collaboration with the creative, data analysis, performance, digital and photographic teams.
  • Maintaining and building relationships with media suppliers to secure the best rates, placement and deals.
  • Developing pro-active ideas on behalf of clients and advising them on the benefits of these ideas.
  • Being alert to other opportunities for both the client and agency that might arise from your work.
  • Participating positively in all client, team and staff meetings and taking forward any decisions made for the good of the company.

The Successful Applicant:

  • Experience as an Account Manager or Senior Account Manager within integrated or creative agencies.
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering marketing strategy for clients.
  • Experience in reporting to clients on marketing performance, working alongside an analysis function.
  • A team player - friendly and approachable with a can-do attitude.
  • Demonstrable leadership skills, aligning multiple teams to achieve client objectives.
  • Commercial and business awareness, particularly of an agency model.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
