Job Description:

  • Deliver 2nd line support for Windows 10/11 desktop environments
  • Troubleshoot laptop and desktop hardware issues
  • Support Microsoft Office 365 and Entra environments
  • Manage video conferencing and cloud storage technologies
  • Maintain clear and accurate IT process documentation
  • Identify recurring issues and drive permanent fixes
  • Support BAU activities and contribute to IT projects
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards

The Successful Applicant:

  • A successful 2nd Line Support should have:
  • 5+ years' experience in IT support, ideally within asset management or regulated environments
  • Hands-on hardware break/fix experience is essential
  • Strong Windows OS and Microsoft Office troubleshooting skills
  • Exposure to trading applications such as Bloomberg or Charles River
  • Experience handling IT escalations and major incidents
  • Familiarity with ITIL methodology
  • Cloud technologies and vendor management experience
  • ServiceNow proficiency (highly desirable)
  • Basic networking knowledge (IP traffic, routing, firewalls)
  • Understanding of GDPR and comms room infrastructure
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
