Privacy Counsel

About Our Client Our client is a world leading player in the media and tech industry, employing over 3,000 dedicated employees. Their operations span globally, with a significant presence in London, where this position is based. Job Description Reporting into the EMEA General Counsel, the Privacy Counsel will join a small legal team and be responsible for the day-to-day data protection matters for the EMEA business. Providing legal advice on privacy matters to the media and agency team Managing privacy-related risks and issues Developing and implementing privacy policies and procedures Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating DPAs Drafting adTech agreements Liaising with stakeholders on privacy matters Conducting privacy impact assessments Ensuring compliance with data protection laws and regulations Leading privacy-related training and awareness programs Handling all privacy-related queries from staff The Successful Applicant Qualified in England & Wales as a solicitor with 2-5 years PQE* Experience in privacy law, ideally within the media, tech, or adtech space Strong knowledge of data protection laws and regulations Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with stakeholders Proven ability to manage privacy-related risks and issues What\’s on Offer An estimated salary range of £90,000 – £120,000 per year A comprehensive benefits package (to be confirmed) The opportunity to work in a thriving London location A supportive, inclusive culture within the media and agency industry Opportunities for professional growth and advancement We encourage all qualified candidates to apply for this exciting opportunity in the heart of London\’s media and agency industry. #J-18808-Ljbffr
