Job Description
- A trusted HR partner to your site
- Building strong working relationships with Manager\’s being visible in the business/shop floor
- First port of call for all HR matters
- Working as part of a HR team along with having ownership of your site for all aspects of HR
- Overseeing employee relations including disputes, performance management, and exit interviews.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of employment law and ensuring company compliance.
- Handling HR administration such as contract preparation and updating employee records.
- Developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with the company\’s business goals.
- Conducting training and development programs.
- Monitoring and managing HR metrics such as employee turnover and retention.
- Identify trends, challenges and be proactive with ideas, processes
The Successful Applicant
A successful HR Generalist should have:
- Have worked in manufacturing or a similar fast paced industry
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
- Stakeholder management with the abulity to build and maintain relatioships
- Knowledge of HR functions and best practices.
- Familiarity with employment legislation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR software.
- Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
- CIPD qualified – ideally
