Description

  • Responsible for the preparation of monthly consolidated financial results for the group.
  • Review inter-company transactions across the group, ensuring these appropriately eliminate.
  • Support in the delivery of monthly financial reporting (both internal and external stakeholders) and board pack preparation including preparation of financial analysis to aid understanding and decision making.
  • Analysing working capital.
  • Support in the delivery of the annual statutory audit, financial statements and tax compliance process including co-ordination with the wider finance team and external auditors/tax advisors.
  • Partner with internal teams on restructuring and corporate activity.
  • Resolve technical accounting issues and produce supporting papers.
  • Maintain integrity of general ledger financial systems & COINS mappings.
  • Work with Business Unit Finance, FP&A & Treasury in the development and maintenance of policies and procedures, controls and systems ensuring consistency of application across the Group.
  • Perform data quality checks and key reconciliations to underlying system.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc analysis and strategic projects.

Profile

A successful Group Reporting Accountant should have:

  • A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly in group consolidations.
  • Experience working within the property industry or similar sectors.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting software and Excel.
  • An analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and financial compliance.

Job Offer
