About Our Client

The company is in the public sector and this role can be done mainly from home. They have offices all over the UK and some on the team choose to go the office weekly, some monthly and other twice a year – the choice is yours! The development used to be done by an external agency and now they are building a team in house so you will be getting involved pretty much from day one, an exciting opportunity!

Job Description

  • Development of new user-facing features using React.js
  • Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
  • Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code
  • Optimising components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
  • Ensuring that all parts of the user interface are easy to test, and work perfectly
  • Understanding business requirements and translating them into technical requirements
  • Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends in the tech industry, particularly React.js
  • Mentor junior developers
  • Code reviews
  • Design discussions
