We are seeking a Senior Consultant specialising in Financial Services risk advisory to join a US consultancy focused on strategy and change. This role is based in London with some travel to the South Coast and is ideal for someone ambitious who wants to accelerate their career.
This organisation is an established US management consultancy who is now growing their proposition in the UK financial services sector. They have an established UK footprint in other sectors and a large UK customer win has given them the runway to grow their proposition.
Description- Develop and deliver strategic initiatives within the financial services sector, focusing on risk management in financial services.
- Focus on financial services risk management, regulatory compliance, and systemic risk challenges.
- Engage with banks, insurers, and regulators on risk led change programmes, risk-model governance and resilience initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify challenges and implement tailored solutions.
- Lead client engagements, ensuring timely and high-quality project delivery.
- Analyse data and provide actionable insights to inform business strategies.
- Support business development activities, including proposal writing and client pitches.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to their professional growth.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and regulatory changes.
- Foster long-term client relationships to drive repeat business opportunities.
A successful Senior Consultant should have:
- 2+ years of experience of consulting in financial services risk or compliance led transformation.
- Experience in at least one of the following: risk led transformation, risk assessments, controls testing, third-party risk, regulatory programme support.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A degree in a relevant field such as finance, business, or economics.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Confidence in leading projects and working collaboratively within teams.
