The Head of IT will lead the technology department in shaping and delivering the IT strategy to support business objectives within the manufacturing industry. Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with the business objectives. Ensure the security, availability, and efficiency of IT systems and infrastructure. Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals to achieve departmental goals. Manage IT budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions are implemented.
A successful Head of IT should have:
- A strong background in IT management
- Maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud systems, backups, and security tools.
- Monitor cybersecurity risks and help maintain strong controls around passwords, access, email security, data protection, and user permissions.
- Manage Microsoft 365, email accounts, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and other business systems.
