Senior hands-on role securing Azure platforms with a strong focus on security tooling, scanning, vulnerability remediation, and backup and recovery. The role requires deep Azure expertise, ARM and Bicep experience, and the ability to work closely with engineering and security teams to deliver secure, resilient platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Secure and harden Azure platform environments
- Implement security scanning, tooling and remediation plans
- Build and secure CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
- Integrate SAST, DAST, dependency and secret scanning tools
- Design and implement backup and recovery aligned to RTO/RPO
- Manage identity and access management controls
- Implement monitoring and alerting using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
- Support incident response, recovery and release readiness
- Collaborate with engineering leads, security teams and partners
Profile:
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Strong Azure platform and security expertise
- Experience deploying within Power Platform and Microsoft Fabric
- Proven hands-on experience with ARM and Bicep
- CI/CD pipeline security in Azure DevOps
- DevSecOps framework design experience
- Vulnerability management and remediation delivery
- Incident response, backup and recovery experience
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder influencing skills
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving mindset
Job Offer:
- Daily rate of GBP 500.0 to GBP 550.0, depending on experience
