Our client is a SaaS Business based in Leeds City Centre with a focus on Retail. They are looking for a Lead React Developer to join them at the start of a large digital transformation. This is a lead role requiring strong technical expertise, architectural vision, and team mentoring experience. This role is 4 days a week in Central Leeds.
In this role you will lead the migration of legacy front-end to modern, user-friendly React Architecture - this will be a project taking 2-3 years and will involve:
- Lead the design and development of scalable React-based web applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement project requirements.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Review and maintain high-quality code standards, implementing best practices.
- Mentor and guide junior developers within the team, fostering their growth.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
- Stay updated with the latest technology trends to ensure the team remains at the forefront of innovation.
- Identify and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, ensuring a seamless user experience.
