This temporary role as a Product Business Analyst in the property industry requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of technology. Based in Leatherhead, you will play a vital role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions.

The team operates in a dual-mode agile environment, requiring the Product Business Analyst to:
- Support live data and analytics products through small changes, defect analysis and incident investigation.
- Work closely with Product Owners, Data Engineers and stakeholders to ensure both planned and unplanned work is managed transparently and effectively.
- Work closely with business users to understand problems, assess impact and identify appropriate technical, process or configuration-based solutions.
- Translate business needs into clear problem statements, functional requirements and acceptance criteria for both delivery and BAU work.
- Act as the first-line business analysis capability for live data and analytics products, supporting investigation of data issues, defects and user-reported incidents.
- Support root-cause analysis of data quality, reporting or integration issues and shape resulting change items.
- Ensure BAU and incident-driven work is captured, prioritised and sequenced effectively within agile backlogs.
- Validate that business and technical requirements are met throughout delivery and change cycles.
- Oversee and support user acceptance testing activities where appropriate.
A successful Product Business Analyst should have:
- Strong experience as a Business Analyst working in agile, product-oriented teams.
- Strong understanding of Agile ways of working, including backlog management, sprint ceremonies and balancing planned delivery with reactive BAU demand.
- Proven experience in requirements elicitation, impact analysis and problem definition.
- Highly detail-oriented, with a structured and pragmatic approach to analysis.
- Experience supporting live data or reporting platforms.
- Power BI, Azure DevOps or similar tooling.
- Experience supporting or facilitating agile ceremonies when required.
- Experience with conceptual and logical data modelling.
