This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Systems Engineer for an Inside IR35 contract with a West Midlands organisation, providing 2nd-line support, Microsoft 365 administration, and infrastructure management in a hybrid environment. PAYE/Umbrella only, competitive rate, ASAP start, with a mixture of remote and on-site presence across multiple West Midlands locations as required.
Our client, a well-established not-for-profit organisation operating across the West Midlands, is seeking an experienced IT Engineer on an initial 4 month contract basis, with likely extension towards the end of 2026. Based in Birmingham, they are expanding their technology estate and investing heavily into upscaling their Modern Workplace environment and core infrastructure.
This role sits within a modern Microsoft-led ICT environment and will focus on 2nd-line operational support, infrastructure administration, and technical escalation, while supporting a Tier 1 Service Desk.
As the IT Systems Engineer you will provide 2nd-line support and resolution of escalated ICT incidents. Deliver day-to-day systems and network administration across cloud and on-prem infrastructure. Monitor and support critical ICT services, identifying and resolving issues as they arise.
