This is a unique opportunity to join a thriving retail brand as they invest into their core functions, and are seeking to hire for an experienced IT Service Manager to join their Lincoln team. You will own all key areas of the IT Service function, taking responsibility for service transition and the best quality in delivery of world-class IT services.
As the successful candidate for the IT Service Manager position, you will be a critical part in the delivery of market-leading technology services across the organisation. You will ensure SLAs are consistently met and exceeded, driving a first-rate IT Service function for users, operating within an ITIL environment.
Service Transition will be a central focus of the role, as the business are continuously looking to invest in best-in-class, high-quality services, and you will ensure smooth and seamless adoption of new services throughout the organisation as part of business critical change processes. You will be centrally involved in Incident Management through to resolution across key services, ultimately helping make a significant impact on the delivery of IT services across the group.
Relationship-building will be key, both internally with the userbase, and also externally with third party suppliers, with the goal of continuously assessing, improving and enhancing service efficiency, and ultimately owning these areas across IT Service. As the IT Service Manager, you will be part of an established and highly collaborative team at the organisation's Lincoln headquarters. As a result, you will ideally be locally based to the Lincoln region.
As the IT Service Manager, you will have the following experience:
- At least 2-3 years commercial experience in a similar IT Service Manager/IT Service Delivery role.
- A strong level of understanding and professional experience with ITIL.
- ITIL certifications (desirable, but not essential).
- Service Transition.
- Incident Management.
Starting salary of £40,000 - £45,000. 12% company pension contribution. Annual bonus. + more.
