We are seeking a hands-on Interim Infrastructure Specialist to support a critical transformation programme focused on modern endpoint management, identity security, and operational maturity. This short-term contract will focus on Intune, Autopilot, Microsoft Entra, and Group Policy optimisation within a hybrid environment.

Our client is a well-established, Birmingham-based organisation operating within a complex, multi-site environment. They are currently undertaking a significant digital and infrastructure maturity programme, modernising their technology estate with a strong focus on Microsoft cloud technologies, security, and end-user experience.

Working within a small but highly collaborative ICT team, you will support the delivery of key initiatives across a hybrid (on-prem and Azure) infrastructure, in a business where reliability, security, and efficiency are critical.

This is a hands-on Interim Infrastructure Specialist role with a strong emphasis on endpoint management, identity, and cloud-first transformation. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting a full discovery and assessment of the current infrastructure estate across Entra ID, Intune, Group Policy, and patching
  • Leading the rationalisation of Group Policy and developing a structured migration roadmap to Intune
