Insurance Practice Lead

The Insurance Practice Lead will combine deep Lloyd's and London Market expertise with strong consulting, solutioning and client engagement skills. They will work directly with clients to understand their needs, shape solutions, lead strategic transformation initiatives and support business development activities across the insurance sector.

Combining deep insurance domain expertise with technology, analytics, AI and operational services, they support clients across the entire insurance value chain, from underwriting and policy administration through to claims, finance and business transformation.

Description

• Act as the Insurance Practice Lead and subject matter expert for the Lloyd's and London Market insurance sector, with a particular focus on Property & Casualty insurance.
• Build trusted relationships with clients, understanding their business objectives, operational challenges and transformation priorities.
• Lead the design and development of customer-focused solutions that address client needs and deliver measurable business value.
• Own and lead strategic transformation and digitalisation initiatives, providing guidance from initial assessment through to implementation and delivery
• Act as the bridge between business and technology teams, ensuring solutions are practical, scalable and aligned to client objectives.
• Lead RFP responses, proposal development, client presentations and solution defence sessions, creating compelling value propositions that support business growth.
• Partner with sales and account teams to identify opportunities, shape solutions and support new business pursuits.
• Collaborate with process, technology, digital, data and analytics teams to deliver integrated transformation solutions.
• Provide thought leadership on emerging market trends, regulatory developments and the future direction of the London Market insurance sector
• Champion innovation by leveraging digital technologies, automation, analytics and AI to enhance client outcomes and operational performance.

Profile

A successful Practice Lead should have:

• 15+ years' experience within the insurance industry, including significant experience in the Lloyd's and London Market sector.
• Deep knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance, insurance operations and market practices.
• Proven experience leading business transformation, consulting or strategic change initiatives within insurance organisations.
• Demonstrable track record of solution design, proposal development and leadership of complex RFP responses.
• Strong client-facing consulting experience, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience translating business requirements into practical transformation and operational solutions.
• Strong understanding of digital transformation, process improvement and emerging technologies, including automation, analytics and AI.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and market developments impacting the insurance industry, including FCA and London Market considerations.
• Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Experience working across global and cross-functional teams to drive successful client outcomes.

Job Offer

• Competitive salary ranging from £110,000 to £140,000.
